Birmingham-based Graphic Designer & Photographer.

Photography & Design started through graffiti and photography for me initially. Photography came simply from documenting my paintings and days out with friends; I soon found a romance between shooting eerie underground shots and film as a format. It quickly hooked me, and the photos became just as much of a motivation to go out as the painting; I soon fell in love with freezing these moments in time forever. I quickly found this to be my style route, mainly shooting black and white film to communicate my emotions during those early years. I found they complimented one another, and I found the style of photography I shot to be suited.  romancing in the shadows.
I focused on the eerieness and late nights, hoping to fascinate the viewer's eye and draw them into a world they would never normally see. I allowed them to step foot into the dark side of graffiti—the loneliness, a somewhat desperation of escapism and emotion mixed with all-out aggression towards society and its restraints.

At this time, I was producing music using old samplers, synths, and vinyl sampling.
I had already developed a passion for using older traditions in music and photography, and they soon became intertwined. I enjoyed lurking through the night painting and shooting while mentally fusing a soundscape into the imagery I was shooting, which was often dark in nature.

My dream was to press my tracks to vinyl; the nature of the music I was making and listening to inevitably made me very attached to vinyl sleeve artwork design while digging for samples. I have always wanted to be self-sufficient and create everything, from music to design concepts and video. This led me to teach myself Design.
I started by taking black and white photographs, which led to the connection between my designs and photography. I started taking photos, so I didn't have to use Google Images,
mainly urban city shots; street photography made for a good matchup with album artwork and looked good.
I connected with photography more; it felt like a way to put the picture to the sound and vice versa; subconsciously, I wanted to push that aspect and see how far I could make the imagery just as much as the sounds. I would return home and play around with layouts, layering typefaces, and typography to create these early vinyl cover developments.

Over the years, I paused music and taking photos took the forefront. I was addicted to travelling and seeing where the images took me, meeting new people and the crazy events that would unfold themselves. Young, free and reckless. This vagabond lifestyle continued for many years, and I continued to design through book/poster design, photo zines, merch and pushing nice, bold, contrasting visuals. I became more involved with shooting 8mm footage, experimenting with all mediums and becoming more engaged in documentation and street photography. Later, I picked up music again and returned to designing music-based artwork alongside my everyday work. I began to gain demand for my work, so I started taking on clients and working as a freelance graphic designer in 2019, which has become my primary source of income.

I continue merging these processes of sound, picture and design.
